Edinburgh 1 day trip

we had a 1 day trip in edinburgh on saturday...edin is only abt 1 hr bus ride from glasgow..pretty near..

Frankly, edinburgh is so much more beautiful than glasgow...hehe..

everywhere we go..we hear bagpipes...n they always like to play 1 particular song...tht song got stuck in our heads for the whole day..*sweatz!*


so our 1st destination was calton hill....the view from the top was soo00ooo nice....*y dun hav this kind of hills in glasgow 1...*


the wind was really strong tht day...our hair was flying ard..slapping each other...muahaha..


at the top of the hill..there were a few "tiangs" sitting there....n some random rocks..hehe

while goin down the hill...we saw a canon...n we were stuck there for bout 20mins...bcuz of all these hamsap lou-s..ngek ngek....



at royal mile..

outside edinburgh castle ..which we dint enter..bcuz of the smacking expensive entrance tic..11 pounds....

so we walked along royal mile..from 1 end to the other...n we reached the parliament...the building behind me...

none of us were interested politics....*duh...*

so we went in..came out in half an hr...*25 mins were spent resting on the couch in the parliament building..* n took pics at the garden outside the parliament..hehe


note: we're wearing the same sweater!



n tan shirlyn decided to test her flexibility....which is quite "karat" adi...as u can c...hehe


however....she almost made a 180 degrees split leap....ONCE.....*clap clap*

the day ended with darren @ biblos....it was nice meeting some1 familiar at a foreign country...thx darren, for the company!!

shopping shopping again...

suMMer saLes in glasgow make me spend like mad lehh....erm...i kno im exaggerating ler...haha...actually somethings here r still cheap in ringgits...so it's not tht bad...c whether u're smart in shopping onot..

like this tube dress here...guess how much...hehe

3.33 pounds leh...tht's like rm20 sthn ony...*wooo...so satisfied la..*

i dono how to wear it actually...n my hsemates suggested wearing it with tights...so here it goes..

nice onot..hehe..*i jus realised the prints look similar to my friendster profile background..muahaha..it means tht my taste quite stable 1 ar..*


n i've been eyeing this pair of ear rings since i laid my eyes on it...so i went into the shop for the second time today...n bought it!! hehe...i think it looks very classy ler...


i also bought black formal pants for 3.33 pounds bcuz those tutors in my PP3 class have been warning me....not directly..but i know it's me...they keep saying tht some of us r not complying to the dress code bcuz some of us r wearing black jeans..

im not wearing jeans but bcuz my black pants colour faded so much it look like jeans...so the black pants was sthn tht i NEED..not i WANT..hehe...

im glad im home...bcuz im so tired rite now...my calves r accumulating lactic acid...

we walked from argyle st, to buchanan then sauchiehall.....superduperly tiring man...

but im happie with my end products...haha

bought a knitted jumper from internationale....8pounds...


got a heart-shaped necklace with a tiny small rock in the middle....at 1st i dint wana buy..dint kno wat to wear with....but when i walked away from it, i kept thinkin bout it....so....I BOUGHT IT!!...2 pounds ...

when i went to the cashier, this ang-mo lady smiled at me...she probably saw everything..bcuz i was holding the necklace..wearing it..taking it out...putting it in front of me...putting it back on the rack...walked away...n then walked back..took the necklace n paid....haha...


n i bought a pair of blue jeans from mango....photo not available bcuz i soaked it in water adi....*dint think of takin pic of it..sob*....12 pounds....it's jus a normal pair of jeans with not many details anyway...

so...2 words....IM HAPPIE!! =)

a half day trip to kelvingrove art gallery n musuem...

n it was BIG.....i seriously walked till i dropped...haha...

next, we proceeded to the museum of transport..

trams, trains, cars, bicycle, motorbikes, ship models...u name it...

my 1st spanish dinner

a post PP3 Class test celebration at Cafe Andaluz with mua hsemates n jocelyn..*not a celebration for jocelyn tho..her class test is on mon..hehe*

a nite without cutting garlic *n sniffing my garlic fingers when i sleep*..n washing up...yippie~!!


the spanish food was wee bit expensive...*the handyman came to our hse n saw the receipt on the table..n he went like "woo..cafe andaluz...expensiveeee"...haha...*

but the food was really nice..jocelyn's chicken was nice..i liked my cod fish n potatoes....n the paella was nice too..*tht's spanish rice*...so it was all worth the visit...

we even ordered spanish traditional wine...it's called sangria..combination of fruits n wine i think...

dint get drunk bcuz the waitress kept refilling for us...n i dun like to drink any sort of drinks while eating....so i think mine got refilled the least ler...

it's 10 pounds+ per pitch...n tht explains y we kept taking pics of it...hehe

This is my senior - Agnes...who has helped me alot after i arrived at Glasgow....besides being very generous by giving away some of her stuff to us...*which includes an external keyboard n mouse!!*...she also gave us some tips bout getting EXEPMTED from PP3 degree exam...muahaha!!! but tht doesnt mean tht i KNOW how to get exempted ler....

secret to getting exempted: pray hard!

Agnes is now back in Msia adi....with her family and her beloved bf..hehe...i wish her all da best in her future n i wan to say this to her....THANKS SO MUCH EVERYTHING!!! Stay blur!!! ngekngek..

I COOKED!! not solely by myself...but almost by myself....with mein n ping-er's help...

cauliflower, brocolli n carrots in lotsa oyster sause...they say taste like restaurant 1 lehh...haha...

n i jus found out tht the only vege i've learned how to cook so far is brocolli....y? 3 times i cook vege...3 times oso brocolli lehh....

n another new finding.....jin aun doesnt like brocolli...haha....

jin aun...after seeing this, u sure wan to eat brocolli adi 1....hahaha...looks yummy lehh...
