bali!!!

i kno i kno..i said im gonna update my blog like twice a week but i dint..haha...lousy me!well..its not bcuz i dint wana blog or i was laz..but i couldnt post up any pics u c...i dono y..so in the end i had no mood to blog..neway..i went to bali on the 27th of dec n came back on the 30th..the whole trip was reli reli fun! bali is a reli nice place...all of u shd go there at least once in ur life k..no kidding...i stayed in a comfortable 4-star hotel, i could wear shorts n shirt all the time, played watersports, went to a few temples, bought slippers n surf pants..n checked out surfers..well..not really la..mostly checking them out when they're jus holding their surfboards but not surfing..haha...cuz i ony went to the beach once n tht beach wasnt suitable for surfing...awwwww..
i went by airasia..overall it was not a bad flight..the airbus we flew in was a new one..nice seat..not a very long flight..when we arrived there, a nice n friendly tour guide greeted us. our driver was a nice guy too.they brought us to our hotel - sanur paradise plaza hotel. i would recommend this hotel to anyone who's interested in goin to bali. it's a classy hotel n the room rates r not very expensive as my dad booked it during a promotion period. for dinner, we went to jimbaran bay..its a place with 1 whole row of bbq restaurants. u dun hav to bbq the food urself..yay!...the food was delicious..fish,sotong,prawns..all bbqed jus right!
the nex day we went to kintamani. its a volcano..not active though. we dint get to go near the volcano but we viewed it from a restaurant where we had buffet lunch...it's on a highland so it was quite cooling...haha....*a break from the sun!!* we went to visit tourist attractions like the batik n weaving centre, silver n gold production, wood carving n many more handicrafts...they r very famous for their "kerajinan tangan" ie handicraft..hehe...then we went to visit a temple where there's "holy water" there for ppl to bathe...kononnya u'll become "suci" after u bathe with tht water...my bro said he saw some1 spitting into the "holy water" pool...ewww..these inconsiderate ppl...
the 3rd day, we went to play watersports in the morning!..snorkeling wasnt fun bcuz we couldn't see anything!!cis...wasted my mum's money....we played "flying fish" too...its hard to describe wat is it in writing la..haha...well..it's a very exciting water activity..hehe...u get to fly up in the air but not as high as parasailing la...haha...then we went to garuda wisma kenchana park...jus to see 2 statues ...but reli big statues (a buddha-like statue n an eagle)...according to the tour guide...they're gonna combine both statues n it'll become the tallest statue in the world - 146m (if im not wrong)....after lunch, we went to uluwatu n tanah lot..both are temples but tourists r not allowed to enter the temple except for praying purposes only...we dint mind not entering bcuz the view at both these places were breathtaking...uluwatu is on a cliff...the southest part of bali island...while tanah lot is a "floating temple" as they call it...bcuz its on a huge rock off the shore...chun lehh...hehe
last day of the trip...we went to kuta for...SHOPPING!...dint get many things from there though...bcuz its famous for shopping n surfing, the stuff there r more expensive compare to other places...some of the stalls sell "ballibong" shirts n surf pants..haha...cool heh....but they hav quiksilver, roxy, nike shops too...nike shoes r cheaper there u kno ..cheaper by abt 20-30 ringgit la...n of cose quiksilver etc too la...after tht...it was time to go home adi...our flight was delayed for abt an hr apparently bcuz of the bad weather in bali...*hmm...i wonder wat bad weather bcuz it wasnt raining or nething like tht..it was jus plainly HOT!*..the flight back was quite pleasant except for the part when there was turbulence for a short while n i felt like i was sitting on a mini roller coaster...i held on to the arm rest really tight..haha...
bali is a place for u to relax n hav fun...get some sun n grow darker...wear bikinis n walk ard shopping...anything tht' s revealing n u dun dare to wear it in msia...wear it in bali!...after all, no1 knos u there....haha...bali is famous for babi guling n kuih lapis..btw, balinese r either hindus or buddhist.so they eat babi..haha..n babi guling is bbq pork, pig intestine n pig liver..u eat it wif rice..bali is oso a place for u to train ur bargaining skills...jus bargain n bargain whenever u buy stuff from the stalls there..dun get cheated k!if they offer 40,000 rupiah, u can bargain till ard 15,000 or 17,000 rup....i want to go bali again!!! 4 days weren't enuf for me~!!
