sebenarnya.....i am very lazy to blog nowadays la....or maybe im jus tired from working in the lab....haihz....
i've been procrastinating to blog bout the Edinburgh zoo trip....hehe...u guys go read ping's blog 1st la..
anywayz....i've received my air-mailed parcel yesterday morning......so0oo soo00oo happie larrrrr.....sthn from home always means a lot!!
the 1st thing i saw when i opened the box was this...
ONE angpau.........just one only.....*gosh! i've nvr actually taken a pic of an angpau b4...like wat the....back in msia...carrefour, giant, guardian all give angpau....but over here it's like some rare item...*
eh? ada duit kat dalam kut.....
haha...of course not la....there was a THANK YOU CARD inside....
erm....looks like my family got infected by the "lame bug" too.....every1 ard me is getting lamer...
it reads "thank you for making us happy".....woohoo~~~ hahaha...my family so "ke ai" 1....
n they wish every1 happy chinese new year! popo said tht she'll hutang my angpau 1st..nex yr give me DOUBLE! *actually i think my parents should increase my angpau money cuz i scared after few more yrs i wun b getting angpau adi....22 yrs old liao...T_T*
inside the parcel, there were also CNY cookies: pineapple tarts, coffee cookies and almond crisps...
not forgetting the main attraction of the parcel....popo's secret recipe sambal....mmMMmmm....
jus now after dinner, we tried my popo's pineapple tarts n they were as delicious as ever....every tart was made my popo's own 2 hands......when i ate them, i really miss my popo.....
then my hsemates ejek me.."ohh...shirlyn's going to cry adi...." then mana tau this mein said "yalor...every tart very hard to make 1...mus wrap fast so the filling/crust wun melt in ur hands...very hard 1"....
so in the end i tak jadi emo....-_-
good thing oso la...haha..tq mein....if not i'll cry then u guys will have to susah payah pujuk me/cry with me.....

ba gua n meat floss....ngek ngek.....
yum yum...bread n butter with meat floss n ba gua.....saliva coming out leh...also, there was a chinese new year card....
n again, they wish every1 in Strathclyde....*ya..u ppl out there* a happy chinese new year!!! i think my parents kesian all of us la...have to celebrate CNY overseas...where there's not 1 bit of CNY atmosphere here....sad....THANK YOU popo, pa, ma, vyn n son for the lovely parcel...i love n miss u guys a lot! 5 more mths+ n i'll b back home.....home sweeeeettt home......
