Isle of Arran

we went for a one day trip to Isle of Arran today...took a train to Ardrossen and then a ferry to Brodick @ Isle of Arran...


when u think of islands, u think of Pulau Redang in Msia..woohoo! girls in bikinis!

but u're so dead wrong if u wana wear bikinis and slippers to an island in the UK...bcuz it's freakingggggg cold ok......

look how the wind blew Jing Mein's hair...and all of ours oso la...

the island is huge..and due to the low frequency of buses and ferry transportation at the island, we only got to see one quarter of the island...

1st up, we went to Glenashdale waterfall...the whole up and down journey took us 2 hrs k! such a healthy trip! hahHAha...


the woods that we had to walk thru to get to the waterfall was very storybook-like...i felt like i was a character in an Enid Blyton storybook...



FINALLY!!! the waterfall....

nothing much to hoo-haa abt...but it's still quite pretty la....


this reminded me of the bee-sting incident i had when i was tracking to get to KKB waterfalls...bad experience!!! T____T.....i cried in front of everyone..old, young, aunty, uncle, friends....so embarassing k....



the view on the way down was also quite nice...mountain and sea..but we were tired by tht time adi...so we just kept wondering why havent we reach the bus stop yet...


next stop was kildonan...to see SEALS!!

these seals r not tht kind u c in the zoo..so i was kinda amazed la....thye really really looked like dogs swimming in the sea...tht's y it's called "hai gou" in chinese...

but when they climbed up a rock, they looked like a banana boat...and they couldnt balance themselves well..

they had to jump around when moving on land...so cuteEEee!!!

there were loads of them!

but it was freezing cold....

whee~~~
i've got to start packing tmr adi..cuz im leaving the day after tmr!!!! can u belif this?? cuz I CANT!! hahAHhaHA...

oh...so the happy that i can see my parents n popo!!!! 1 whole yr man....

n my juniors are on the plane right now...they'll b reaching tmr aftnoon i think..i still could rmb very well wat happened on the day i left and the day i arrived at glasgow..i can't belif tht one yr has gone by and it's now my turn to pass my stuff to my juniors....

kinda sad tht im leaving glasgow very soon..but at the same time, im happy that im going home!

good news: jpa said tht i'll probably receive my air tics by next week! yippie~~~
