London with family

OMG! so many gazillions of pictures...i'll tell u wat...im jus gonna blog a post a day la. not gonna blog hardcore like i used to last time after every trip..

this is crazy wei...a 25 days trip - 3 memory cards - 2 cameras and so many things to talk abt....

ok..let's get started....LONDON!

popo, pa n ma flew by Emirates to London Heathrow and we met at the airport...mum cried when she saw me..*awwwww...*

it's been 12 mths and a wk since i last saw them k...was really happy to see them again...



we spent almost 5 days in London..which was a lil' too much for London la i have to say.but we had to match with the Italy trip which was only going to start on the 16th...so it's really a relaxing London for my family and I...

we practically went home after dinner almost everyday, and slept at 9/10pm...

1st nite, we had our dinner at Chinatown..Four Seasons...
i could see tht mum n dad were trying to get used to spending in pounds...ngek ngek....

the next day, we went to Buckingham Palace and watch the changing of guards...

this time, the red uniform guards showed up!! woohooo..was so excited to see them cuz they dint appear during winter which was the last time i was there...

i was shouting to my dad "pa..look!!! got the red uniform guards with the tall tall hat.." awww..dun they look adorable..hahAHha...

next up, Big Ben!!

Big Ben still gave me the "wow!" feeling the 2nd time i saw it...i really like the view la...River Thames, Big Ben and the House of Parliament..they just go so well together...

Tower of London...u know la..Chinese ppl really like to take pics...they can jus grab any1 they see on the streets to take pic FOR them..or WITH them...anywayz, the kids r really cute!

oh this thing..it was on the other side of Tower of London...it's called...erm..idonowatizitcalled-scope.....it's got a weird name la...

and supposedly when u stand in front of it, u could see another grp of ppl in New York, US!! crazee wei..im not sure whether it's true..but the ppl here in London who were standing in front of it were waving frantically to the ppl in New York..and they seem to be able to communicate...how cool is tht!?

London telephone booth..it's going to be extinct my aunt said...so faster go take a pic with it in London soon....

n like i said..we had a very relaxing trip in London...we even sat down at Leceister Square for abt an hr or so doing nothing! y do i look like a statue?
on our 2nd last day in London, we met up with my Aunt and had dimsum!!! yummie..at the place tht Khai Gene, Yuh Huey and I met up in December...my popo loved the dimsum there!

we went to the marble arch....nvr hear b4 leh..haha...u c..this is what im trying to tell u..we had too much time in London...

it's near Hyde Park and speaker's corner...oh oh..speaker's corner is this interesting place in Hyde Park whereby every1 there has the freedom to speak..so loads of ppl go there and just start talking n pulling a crowd together to hear them talk...

they can talk abt everything under the sky..christianity, muslim, war, the president...and there were ppl giving out free hugs too...erk! too bad they looked like hamsap lou so they were jus pathetically standing in the middle of the street looking for ppl to hug...

we also went to a toy store on Oxford St...oh no, i forgot its name! anyway, it looked like the toy store in Home Alone..any1 wathced it b4? i think it was Home Alone 1 or 2 la..and they have all sorts of toys in there...n the workers promoting the toys by setting up stalls or just randomly flying an aeroplane in the store..

i found Hard Rock Cafe London..

n this time i could go to Harrods...everything is way overpriced in there..n everything was in perfect order..i mean even the way the fruits r arranged..they all have the same size! tell me how is tht possible??? okla..it's actually possible ....things r just too perfect to b true in there!


i got my freshly baked Krispy Kreme from harrods! sobsob..my last Krispy Kreme in London...how sad is tht....
i think the nearest place to get Kripsy Kreme now is Bali...but wth..go Bali to eat Krispy Kreme..hahAHha...i actually think J.Co tastes better than Krispy Kreme! hahHAha...im evil...Krispy Kreme fans r gonna kill me now...
