work work work....

OMG!!!! i've worked for 2 days adi....tht was fast!!!

partly bcuz i work from 8-5++pm (y ++ leh? cuz we PRPs usually have to stay back to do some work which can only be done at the end of the day..so all the pharmacists balik n leave us PRPs to do the work)

then by the time i come home, eaet dinner...im so tired to do anything...next thing i kno, it's time to sleep.....IS THIS HOW MY LIFE IS GOING TO BE FROM NOW ON????

anywayz, just a lil' info bout how my work is like....i've got sent to the in-patient pharmacy..which is quite cool la..we deal with all the in-patients medication, methadone dispensing, oncology drugs, therapeutic drug monitoring and controlled drugs...

i feel like im doing sthn quite meaningful cuz i get to help the patients...hehe...one of my jobs was to call up the ward nurses and tell them whether to withold or maintain the patients' therapy ...as suggested by the pharmacist of course, not me! im not allowed ot do tht!...so i feel like im part of the healthcare team!! *cheh eh..proud!*

and today i got to follow my senior PRP to the cardiac ward and do patient counselling..basically its more like a presentation to bout 7-8 patients and student nurses..abt how to take the medication n blabla....ahhhhhh..jin aun said i should b a doctor cuz help the patient a bit adi so happy...

ok..im gonna end here with some tips bout getting started with work...hope it helps la..

1. wear ur most comfortable shoes..(cuz there might b quite a lot of standing and walking ard)

2. pack ur own lunch!! cuz hospital food sucks la...not much time to go out n eat oso la...n mayb u n ur frens would hav diff lunch breaks...

hmm..actually got 1 more but i forgot.neway, cant think now n i better go to sleep...have to wake up at 6am! have to get used to sleeping early la...
