let's start with the earliest 1...HARI RAYA @ GLASGOW...
the person in charge of dresscode day aka mua...suddenly had a bright idea 2 days b4 raya eve..."y not ask every1 to wear their baju kurungs n kebayas jus to welcome raya"....
so i made a speech in front of the class *including the ang-mohs u kno....so i had to like practise a few times at home jus in case they dun understand my english or sthn like tht..haha*...told the class to wear their malay traditional costumes, or if u dun have 1, wear green or yellow
sadly i brought my cheongsam, so i wore green whilst my hsemates n kah yie wore malay costumes..sob..

i was glad tht the home students actually complied to the dresscode so it was quite a success ler...hehe...they were quite confused with our multiracial celebrations...they tot we (Malaysian Chinese) celebrate Hari Raya bcuz they tot we're Malays....*ang-moh: ppl from Msia r called Malays...*....so i had to explain to them tht the Malays/ Muslims celebrate Hari Raya...while we, Msian Chinese celebrate Chinese New Year....=)

oct 17 was yi shan's bday...we had potluck at her place...n later on at 12am, a surprise bday cake celebration for her..
our oh-so-yummy dinner prepared by suechoo's hse, yishan's hse n our hse...
tomyam fried rice, yogurt chicken, fried mushroom, singchow beehoon, baked tuna n sweet & sour pork..

last weekend, darren n yih seng came over to visit us from edinburgh...
we had such a great time n i think wei lun totally regretted for ffk-ing us....
we made a welcome banner for them...with the simpsons n winnie as background n also some handmade ribbons with goldilocks curls...muahaha...super SS....
forced them to blow their barbie whistle!!
*wonder if they'll kill us for putting up these pics in our blogs..hehe*
we went for chinese buffet dinner n spent half the time eating desserts bcuz their icecream reminded me of mcd's sundae...*FIY, they do not sell mcd's sundae here...sob..*
when we returned home, we had a drinking/karaoke session at home...
everybody was a lil' high after a few doses of alcohol....
liping's n mein's faces turned red after a while, as usual..hehe
we didnt do much the next day thus making dinner the most interesting part of the day...hehe
we had mint lamb chop n roasted duck for dinner....
both of the guys kept thanking us for our hospitality....even after they reached edin....haha....they said tht they've not been treated this well b4 when they visited other frens....*i hope none of their frens read my blog....if not, "chia lat" lor...haha*
wat can i say...Rumah SS always offer the greatest, bestest n funnest stay to whoever who visits them....
