prezzies from far far away...

its nice to receive something from someone, anytime, anywhere....

but especially when u're overseas....n missing home..

that one tiny thing can make your day.....


i've received birthday cards from mei tien(brisbane) n sinyee....
even tht there were just words in the cards, they made me feel touched....



note: both the cards have teddy bear and the words "For Someone Special" in front of them, n they both used orange highlighter when writing their cards...hahaha...u guys pakat 1 izit? or chee muis think alike ya?!!


karen sent me bangles as my bday prez....thx gurl!! haha.....how d'ya know i dint bring mine here?...she knows tht i miss the "ching chang" sounds of my old bangle..which by the way was given by her too......hahaha....




n the reason y i posted all these so late was bcuz my gift from jin aun FINALLY arrived.....*after all the pressure..tsk..*....hahaha.....

somebody knocked on the door this aftnoon n told me tht he has a parcel for me..*yippie!*

so when i opened it up, it's a renoma underwear box....*lame la u, jin aun..*...there were even drawings on the underwear....


n when i opened the renoma box, there was another purple box....n it had a keychain inside with my last chinese name....*sweet..*


but i am too smart for him adi....bcuz i know tht tht's not all..hahahaha.....*aun, it's time to show me new tricks bcuz i kno all of ur old ones..* i calmly told my hsemates..."sure got sthn behind 1...he cannot con me..."

n obviously i was right...haha...he gave me a pair of white gold ear rings....

i told him tht i have a lot of ear rings actually..n u kno wat he replied?.. "this ear ring is more exp than all ur ear rings combined together".....hahaha...rich boy....

neway, the firealarm rang this morning at 11am....we tot somebody set their unit on fire AGAIN.....but when we went out n made ourselves suffer in the freaking cold weather....the village office guy told us tht it was just a drill...CHEH!....

however, at ard 2pm in our apartment.....there was actually

A REAL FIRE!!!!

im not joking lor....got pics to prove it....

who set the fire? ME!! nvr tot tht i could actually set a pot on fire...but ya...it happened!

mein used the fire blanket to cover the fire up.....


but we still need the fire extinguisher...

n darn! we dono how to use it......so we had to read the instruction 1st...

according to mein, i even SAT DOWN on the dining table to read the blarddyy instructions....*how could i b so calm?*

i pulled the yellow plastic thingie off, n "aimed" at the fire....but i dint know i was actually aiming at the living room..so tht explains y there were so much CO2 powder on the dining table....

then mein took it from me ...n courageously aimed at the fire...puff!!....fire was gone.....so chio man! hahaha....
